The final roping of the weekend was the #8.5 Prize Roping. Taking home the win was the tenth high call back team of Aspyn Dent and Kaleb Hella with a total of 29.69 seconds on three steers. They won $5000 in cash, trophy X-Treme Team Roping saddles and X-Treme Team Roping shootouts.  Second place, $4000, trophy Gist buckles, and X-Treme Team Roping shootouts went to Albino Herrera and Bosten Oliver.  Aspyn Dent would strike again. This time for third place with partner J P Cantu. They won $3500, trophy Gist buckles, and X-Treme Team Roping shootouts.  Fourth place went to Albino Herrera and Keith Garrett. They received $2500, trophy X-Treme Team Roping breast collars, and X-Treme Team Roping shootouts.  Blaine Petersen and Seth Morgan took home fifth, $1800, trophy X-Treme Team Roping breast collars, and X-Treme Team Roping shootouts.  

All teams that made the short round received X-Treme Team Roping shootouts that can be used at the X-Treme Team Roping Finals scheduled for August 20-23, 2020.  As the Curtain fell on a great weekend of team roping at the Brazos Valley Classic everyone agreed that the event was a huge success.  The X-Treme Team Roping crew is already looking forward to seeing everyone at the next event, The Big Break, March 14-15 in Stephenville, TX.
